Points & Rewards Settings Overview

LoyalGenie Points & Rewards Settings come with defaults suited for every store. It is up to the store owners to set them up according to their needs.

Points & Rewards program settings consist of 5 sections:

  • Program Status
  • Ways to Earn
  • Ways to Redeem
  • Points Branding
  • Social Links

Points & Rewards Program Status

Store owners can enable or disable their Points & Rewards program with a single toggle. Having the program turned ON means that the store's Loyalty Widget and Loyalty Page will be visible to customers and all incoming orders will be processed.

However, if the program is turned OFF, the store's Loyalty Widget and Loyalty Page will not be visible to customers and all incoming orders will not be processed.

Ways to Earn

Store owners have eight different Earning actions to choose from. Those actions include the following:

  • Registration
  • Refer a friend
  • Place an order
  • Like on Facebook
  • Follow on Instagram
  • Follow on TikTok

Earning actions

Store owners can add some, or all earning actions to their store.

If some earning actions are no longer needed, they can be disabled by clicking the toggle next to the Action type.

NOTE: All active Earning actions are visible within the Loyalty Widget and on the Loyalty Page.

Ways to redeem

By default, the LoyalGenie platform provides a few ways customers can redeem their points for rewards. This can help store owners get their Points and Rewards program up and running as fast as possible.

Redemption action

Redemption actions present different ways customers can redeem their points for rewards set up by the store owner. There are many ways to set up redemption actions, but it is up to the store owners to create redemption actions that fit their store best.

NOTE: All active Redemption actions are visible within the Loyalty Widget and on the Loyalty Page.

Points Branding

Store owners can choose how to name their points currency so it matches their brand better.

Social Links

Store owners can use the Social Links section to add the links to their social media networks. These links will be used for different Earning actions, such as following the store's Instagram or TikTok page.

NOTE: This section is also used to add the Register and Sign-in page links.
